Nothing Is Impossible: The Story Behind Mustkies

If you’ve ever wondered how Mustkies began, it all started with a deep love for design — and a belief that nothing is impossible.

My mother taught me to appreciate craftsmanship and beauty in every detail. My father gave me the opportunity to travel the world and experience luxury firsthand. Growing up between France, Brazil, and Taiwan opened my eyes to cultures, colors, and textures — and showed me how design connects people everywhere.

After studying Interior Design in London, I built my career working with incredible brands like Louis Vuitton, Oilily, Shinola Detroit, and J.McLaughlin. Those experiences taught me what makes a product timeless: purpose, emotion, and quality that lasts.

But when life shifted — balancing motherhood, career, and creativity — I discovered a new calling. I launched The Boutchkies Family Daycare to create something meaningful for families in my community. That success gave me the courage to try something new again and again. When the world slowed down during the pandemic, I turned my love for design (and my two rescue dogs!) into The Poochkies, a line of durable, stylish dog beds crafted with the same attention to detail I had learned in luxury retail.

Then came Mustkies — a natural evolution of everything I love. I wanted to design bags that were beautifully made, practical, and lasting — bags that could keep up with every part of a woman’s life.

The Sydney became the heart of it all. It represents my journey — travel, luxury, craftsmanship, and functionality — blended into one timeless piece. With its innovative recessed zipper “shelf,” durable waterproof canvas, and thoughtful pockets, the Sydney carries more than just essentials. It carries the story of how I turned years of experience, curiosity, and love for design into something real.

At the core of Mustkies is my favorite quote by Audrey Hepburn:

“Nothing is impossible; the word itself says ‘I’m possible.’”

That phrase reminds me daily that with creativity, determination, and heart, anything can be achieved. My goal is to inspire other women to believe the same — to chase their ideas, to build boldly, and to carry their dreams with confidence.

Each Mustkies design is a reflection of that belief — crafted with care, made to last, and designed to make your everyday beautifully organized and uniquely yours.
